E*Trade - trouble getting stock certificates

I have been trying to get a stock certificate for my holdings with ETrade since 11/8/01. I've gotten 4

different confirmation numbers as well as assurance from the stock transfer agent that the certificate was sent to ETrade on 12/13/01 but ETrade is unable to locate the certificate.

I am transferred from holding an inordinate amount of time with one clerk to holding with another clerk Today alone I have spent 1 hour on hold trying to get an answer.

The prior confirmation numbers are: 011108-6612, 011114-7262, and 011206-5235 for a certificate for 500 shares of GLG(NYSE).
