Hi,
My friend wanted to present us with a baby travel system of $139 value for our new born baby from Toys R Us stores. But when he went to pick up the item from pick up area, the item was not in stock and the guy at the pick up area asked my friend to come after three days.
My friend has given me the receipt and asked me to collect from the stores. But unfortunatley I lost the receipt. When we approached the store manager with my friend's credit card report which shows the payment, he says there is no way he can do anything without the original receipt.
He told that he checked against the existing inventory and it does not show any thing about an extra item. That means either the store manager has not inspected his inventory properly OR some one else has taken the item which we have paid for.
My friend paid for the item which we really didn't get. We live in Fremont, CA and the store we visited is
