Consumer beware...do not under any circumstances buy a Sony TV! I bought the above model in 1995 - in 1997 I had to have the tuner replaced (at considerable cost). In Sept. 2001 - the whole TV sort of collapsed.

The tuner went and as of tonight the whole TV just shut down. In shopping for a new TV, every sales person I saw told me NOT to buy a Sony....especially if they were assembled in Mexico.

I wrote a letter to Howard Stringer (CEO of Sony) and of course, got no reply. My last TV, a Panasonic, lasted 17 years. Sony is simply flooding the market with inferior goods and charging high

prices to convince you they're still the best.

BEWARE...DON'T BUY A SONY TV!!! Sincerely,
