Because of a switch by the City of Eugene in its payroll deposit system ( they went from payments on the 15th and 30th of each month to every two weeks) my branch of US Bancorp is now charging me an extortionant amount of $5 dollars a day for every day my account is overdrawn, despite there being no checking activity on that account.
They also deduct random amounts on random days throughout the month to regain these charges and to pay down on my overdraft. I am perfectly happy to pay down my overdraft on a regular day and a regular amount but their randomness and greed have made it impossible for me to budget...some months it is 30 dollars and another it is 100 dollars...
they also charge extra for phone consultations and to use a real live teller...Surely this is not an ethical way to do business? M.Wheelhouse From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Sunday, 23-Dec-01 00:00:00 CST Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
