RE: Sears Credit Department - reported to credit bureaus
The Credit Department at Sears caused my and my wife's Credit Scores to be reduced by reporting to the Credit Bureaus that we had not paid our Sears accounts. We do not owe Sears anything and have been excellent customers of Sears.
I need to get to the bottom of this and I have no idea who to contact and Sears does not seem to have employees who are able to help over the phone and it is very embarrassing to discuss my personal account with a teenager in a line at the cash register. Please help....

This has brought down my score as I have 2 many retail credit inquires. I guess they are just running scared. I was damaged by Hurricane Ike and SBA Disaster assistance turned me down said I had too much retail credit brought down my score. I have not made a charge or owe them in over 5 years Always paid on time. It got applied to a wrong account and your dept. called me asking for a payment and I owed nothing. It was reported to the credit agencies and went against my credit rating. I need you to remove this negative and falsely accused report from my credit.
