RE: Travelocity.com - No Refund govem for cancelled flight My wife and I made our reservation on March 2, 2001 to Florida for October. Our return flight was cancelled without our knowledge. We requested for a refund on October 4th. The company, Travelocity, ensured us that we would be getting our refund in two weeks-then four weeks-then ninety days.
Now they refuse to refund our money and claimed not to have any records of our request for a refund and will not allow us to speak to a supervisor. The reservation was charged to our credit card and still accumulating interest while we wait for them to call us back---something they promise to do but never follow through.
Travelocity has become very unfriendly and forgetful of our concerns and lose. All we've received from them is the run around and negligence. Since October, we have been calling them on a weekly basis - to no avail. If they ever decide to credit our credit card, they have better compensate for the interest as well. We are giving them a time frame to respond in a professional manner and swiftly refund our money. Because we are disputing the issue and will seek legal advice as how to proceed from here on.
We do not recommend this company to anyone, especially our families. If they can not handle the volume of customers, they should consider not being in this type of business. And we will go to the public media with this as well. We are sure they know who we are if they should happen to read this complaint.......................THIEVES!
