If you want a fence, then Long Fence in Northern Virginia should be avoided at costs.
Long Fence did not build my fence on the day that we agreed to some 3 months prior to installation date.
When asked about it, they stated that they were busy, and they could reschedule for the next week.
They missed that appointment too. When they finally did build the fence, they damaged both my neighbors yards and my downspout.
They also built the fence smaller than agreed to because they had to move the fence 2 feet from a buried power line, even though NOVEC (power company) stated that they can be 1 foot away.
They also left about a 10 inch gap on one side of the fence where it is supposed to join the house. It took about 3 weeks to get that fixed, and their personnel were very rude to me.
Finally, they continued to bill me and state that I was late in paying even though the fence was paid in full.
I had to call twice (after each late notice) to clear this up.
I found that the way to deal with Long Fence is to retain a good lawyer, send everything to them via certified mail, and back everything up with legal action and notices to the state contractors board.
This is the only way to get results from this company.
Better yet, do not use them.
I know that the next time that I need a fence, deck, or stone patio I will definately not use them.
