MESQUITE's (Mesquite, Nevada) DENNY'S POOR SERVICE & FOREVER GETTING FOOD

RE: MESQUITE's (Mesquite, Nevada) DENNY'S POOR SERVICE & FOREVER GETTING FOOD

 

 

When we moved to Mesquite 1-month ago, we were glad to see a Denny's Restaurant.

 

The 2nd day we stopped at the restaurant thinking it had the quality we were use to, we were quite surprised at the service!

 

First it took about 10-min.'s before we were approached.

 

The waiter apologized for not waiting on us. We were the only ones in the smoking area, but he said they were short of servers.

 

When we ordered from the sandwich section, it took another 45-min.'s before we got our food. The kid was almost afraid to approach us.

 

He again apologized. We left him a tip, but said we had never been in such a slow Denny's. The 2nd time we had pie & ice cream.

 

It took about 20-min. to get that. She apologized, saying some gal didn't show up. Again we give the gal a tip, knowing it wasn't her fault.

 

Today, Sept.29th we thought we'd try it again. Boy, 3 times of disappointment is about all we can handle for VERY SLOW SERVICE & VERY SLOW GETTING THE FOOD.

 

We had a meal from the sandwich section again & again the 2 of us were the only 2 in the smoking section that had no food.

 

Two other people in that section were eating. We decided to time the person who'd be our server. It was 15-min.'s. She come over to us saying, "sorry, I didn't see you." We were use to the fast service & fast food at North Dakota & South Dakota where we lived & always enjoyed going there.

 

But here is another story!!!!! I will tell everyone who wants to know where to eat, NOT to go to Denny's here in Mesquite unless they have NOTHING else to do, because it will take forever getting served and again forever getting the food.

 

The problem here is not enough people put on duty.

 

That includes the servers & the cook.

 

Denny's in Mesquite is not run like the ones in the Dakota's.

 

Denny's to us now has a bad reputation and we have to look for faster service being waited on & getting our food.

 

Shape up Denny's here in Mesquite!!

 

The place needs a training program & a better manager to overlook the place.

 

You will not be recommended by us.
