Dear manager of complaints.com:

First of all, I would like to know weather or not it is possible to post complaints about dutch company's. If so I would like to post a complaint about the dutch cable company 'UPC-Nederland'.

UPC-Nederland is a company that untill now exists only by virtue of being a monopoly.

If it weren't for said monopoly position I'm sure that they would be bankrupted abrubtly. I don't think I have ever encountered a company that gives worse service than this one and I am not alone.

They are so bad that the consumer rights companies of Holland are making them refund the victims of their bad service and giving them awfull news coverage.

This company sells me so called 24 hour a day cable internet for f90,- (+- $50,-) a month.

Every now and again however, the internet bums out and I'm left to wait and hope that sometime it will come back on. This however is not the worst of it.

When I telephone them about it, they leave me on hold for at least 15 mins to a half hour if I'm lucky. Unless of course I should choose the menu-option for their sales department, then they answer the phone within 1 minute.

Today for example I was in the middle of an important download and there it went again. When I reluctantly telephoned them, I ended up waiting on the phone for about 25 minutes on my cost of course. In the end I gave up with the phone, and finally after about an hour my internet came back on.

And this is what I pay f90,- a month for. I feel really cheeted.

Please can you help me by posting this complaint.
