I got an appointment for this company to move and confirm the moving date twice.

When the date came, nobody showed up. I called the local office, the manager said his movers did not show. He promised me that they will come the next day. No one showed up again the next day and no one answer the office phone either. I called the head office in L.A. They said all they could do was to page the local office manager. On the third day, I went down to the Oakland office and sat in the office, refusing to leave until the manager find someone to move my furniture. He got someone and they DEMANDED a big tip. On top of that, they required cash payment for the move. I had no choice and the new tenant was moving into the house. They were slow and did not finish the move and they quit in the evening. We had to rent a truck the next day to finish moving. I filed a complaint with their head office and they refused to reimbursed my out-of-pocket costs, ie rent for the 2 days and the blackmailed tip. Currently I am suing them in court, and filed a complaint with the PUC in S.F. If you have similar problem with this company, I urge you to call the PUC and the BBB.
