Hello! I just finished talking to an AOL.COM representative on the phone. Needless to say, my concern, issue was not resolved. The issue is that aol is sending my dauther account status past due notices and she is really upset about it. I explained to the AOL Rep. that I am the primary owner of the credit card and I went on to explain again the circumstances that led to this situation. We join AOL,COM last December and after a few months I decided to cancel the service because my home computer is too slow (obsolete). The AOL person I talked to at the time said no problem that he was going to give me some free time (one month), and I thought that that was the end of it. I was surprised when I received my credit card statement with a charge fron aol. Inmediately I contacted aol and I was told that the charge was for using their service. I told them that I was waiting for aol to shut off their service and I was told that as long as I use the service (even thought I told them to cancell)that they were going to charge me (they forgot to tell me that when I cancelled). Now I wonder how many people out there have had the same overcharge problem. I also told the aol Rep. that if they were going to send any correspondace to send it to me (to keep my dauther from getting upset)and the Rep. answered that they were going to keep on sending the mail to my dauther then I replied that if they kept on doing that I was going to file a complaint and she said to go ahead. That's why I writing this complaint.
