heres my situation. I received the cd in the mail from earthlink to sign up for 3 months of service and receive a free digital camera. i signed up, ordered the camera and it was suppossed to arrive in 10-14 days. to make a long story short, its been nearly 4 months, 4 phone calls to earthlink, and 5 emails later, and i still havent received my free digital camera. i held my end of the deal by paying 19.95 every month, and i'm very angry that earthlink hasnt honored their promise of a digital camera. today i called for the 4th time and politely told them that i haven't recieved my camera, and the man said i had to wait 24 hours and then reorder the camera, and then it "should" be here in 10-14 days. he gave me this story that it had to be reshipped or something, i had no idea what he was talking about. I have been patient enough, if i dont receive the camera i will demand my money back. If earthlink can't honor its promotions, they should respect its customers and offer them some form of compensation for their troubles. very angry customer (and not the only one)
