I purchased a Gateway computer in September 2000.

I decided to sign up for DSL service and contacted Technical support to see if i had the necessary Ethernet card. No one at technical support could help.

I decided to buy an Ethernet card just in case. They delivered the card 2 weeks later than expected without explanation. And instead of an ethernet card, I received a sound card.

I contacted customer service and was promised a return label to send back the sound card sent to me in error.

I was then transferred to sales so that, again, i could buy an ethernet card. I was told it would be delivered by 12/5.

On 12/19 I had not received the return label or the ethernet card. I emailed customer service.

They responded that the card was out of stock and they would now need my permission to fill the order when it was back in.

No mention of my return label.

It is not 1/3/01...no ethernet card, no return label.

My last two emails has not been acknowledged.

Their motto is "people first"...what a crock!
