Purchased and installed Hampton Bay Maplewood Fan # 476-317. Motor Hums very loud. REplaced switch, no change. Returned fan and got another. Same problem.

Noise is very annoying. The fan fits decor perfectly so I would like to solve hum problem.

Have tried BOTH simple ON/OFF switch and HI/MED/LO fan switch no change. Please advise. Thanks - J.P. Jenkot
