Everyone, beware of Hotel Reservations Network (hoteldiscounts.com)!
I was promised big savings, but was actually quoted the same amount per night as I was when I called the individual hotel in Seattle.
Their website does not make it clear that your credit card will be charged immediately after making the advance reservations, nor does it say anything about a $50 cancellation charge.
When I cancelled my reservation two months in advance, it took days for the refund to go through. Even though I received an e-mail promising me a full refund with the dollar amount listed, they shorted me this $50 cancellation on my refund which EVENTUALLY did go through.
Why would anyone use this service, when the hotels themselves don't charge this cancellation fee? Also, their operators are rude and unknowledgeable, and I spent hours total on hold trying to get answers and help.
They didn't respond to my e-mails at all.
I have contacted the Better Business Bureau - I will not give up on exposing this deceptive and unfair company with poor customer service!
