RE: GeoBook-Brotherworks 98 - Notebook Computer
My mother was schemed into purchasing a GeoBook - Brotherworks 98 Notebook.
Mail was sent to her telling her she has won a discount on a computer and told her all she had to pay was $300.00 plus dollars to have a computer that would give Full Internet Acess, Full Word processing, capabilities, and would work with your internet service.
Everything was a lie. The GeoBook-Brother works 98 Notebook has a monitor that has print so small you can hardly read it, making it impossible for a 75 - 80 year old senior citizen to read it.
Plus the machine does not except email from all sources.
The internet access is very very limited, you can only pull up certain pages that don't have pictures on them, the machine will not accept pages with pictures, only text. T
his machine is a complete lie, or it was told to my mother to be one type of machine because she was a senior citizen and they fail to her the complete story as to what the machine would do, and WOULD NOT DO!!!!!
We have asked GeoBook - Brotherworks 98 company for our money back and we were told that they are not giving money back.
We were also told that pending litigations were put against this company.
Please Senior Citizens BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!
