RE: Educational Partners Association
Good Afternoon: Came across your website and wanted to make a complaint against Educational Partners Association but I was unsure of what category they would be put into. This company "EPA" offers CPR and First Aid Courses. I registered my daughter for a course on June 18, 1998 with the understanding that I could cancel up to the day before and receive a full refund of $80.
I reconsidered and called to cancel plus wrote a letter to the Board of Directors and still did not get my money back. I wrote to Action Line at the Ottawa Citizen and made a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.
This company has had several complaints against it including another in today's copy of the Ottawa Citizen in the Action Line column. I did not get my refund as I should have so hope that no one else gets involved with this company. I cancelled my contract with them 4 hrs after they came to my door. they ignored my phone calls and returned a REGISTERED letter! BBB knows about them!! STAY AWAY! Tell ALL your friends! Check the record of Educational Partners Association with the BBB. It is a very poor record. Do not do business with them. If you want to learn First Aid/CPR go directly to St John Ambulance. That is where you will get the best service. EPA does not return calls or care about customer satisfaction.
