Complaints.com received the following e-message on February 14, 2001:

They sent this excuse and then REFUSE to answer the phone!!! Dear Danny: Please be advised that there has been a slight delay in the shipment of your recent gift purchase due to the holiday.
We apologize for the inconvenience. Your satisfaction is our goal. Please feel free to contact us by replying to this email or calling 1-800-SEND-FTD if you would like to discuss this matter, or would like us to contact your recipient to apologize.
We greatly appreciate your business and understanding.
