Telephone Service, Wireless - AT&T Digital One Rate confusion over rate plan
Digital One Rate AT&T From: Lucinda McCollar Email User Date: Wednesday, January 31, 2001 07:26 PM I have the AT&T Digital One Rate plan for $59.99.
The plan was originally for 300 minutes plus 200 extra for six months. Before my current plan ended, AT&T added an additional 150 minutes to the basic $59.99 plan.
Rather than automatically converting everyone with the 300 minute plan to 450 minute plan, the consumer had to call and request this change.
When I received my bill today, it indicated that I used 300 minutes of my plan and used an additional 116 minutes.
I was changed for the additional time, however, this still does not exceed the 450 minute plan. I feel that this is poor customer service to offer two plans for the same price.
It is highly unlikely that anyone would opt for 300 minutes for $59.99 when 450 minutes are also offered for the same price.
When I received a letter stating that my plan would have more minutes, I assumed that I would automatically receive this deal.
Any reasonable and prudent person would also assume this would be the case.
I would like an e-mail response explaining why customer service is not revelant to AT&T. From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Thursday, 01-Feb-01 19:26:00 CST Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
