_____________________ This is regarding the McDonalds at Third Street and Townsend in San Francisco (near Pacific Bell ballpark). Whenever I do go there in the morning to get a breakfast, I am never greeted with a "Hello, how may I help you?" or even a "Next in line?" They just stand there and of course you're going to step up to the counter because YOU'RE next! So, I guess they've trained them that "all customers are trained dogs, they'll come up to you without having to be prompted." Then, while ringing up your order, they don't count back your change and they most certainly don't say "Thank you, please come again" or even smile at least a little. Gee, so much for their current ad slogan about "We love to see you smile" what a lie! I've experienced this at other McDonalds also, so this is not an isolated event. But the atrocious service at the Third Street and Townsend restaurant location is inexcusable. I have written to corporate offices and have voiced my dissatisfaction with their poor service quality at their restaurants. Believe me, it seems like it might not work, but voicing your dissatisfaction can be effective! I complained about one post office station that really had poor service and everybody in line was grousing about it that I complained to the USPS. They followed up with me twice. They did take heed of my word. Don't ever feel that you have to suck up to poor customer service levels, speak up and be heard! Edmund
