I have a scanjet 4300c scanner.

It has been working fine since I bought it last Fall but I had not used all of the functions. I tried to do some document scanning with the incorporated OCR software and the whole thing crashed.

Now it won't work at all except as a copier. I find that the guarentee was only for three months - that's a joke.

Then I find that these guys want $ just to speak to them on the phone.

This is the worst.

Even Microsoft gives me a couple of freebees before they attempt to soak me.

The next time I buy a product I will be smart enough to check out what their support policies are.

If they can't stand behind their products better than this I'll find another company that will.
