Car Finance - Toyota Motor Credit Corporation, Shelton, CT company spoke to consumer's mother about consumer's personal information, which is not appropriate

Complaints.com received the following e-message on December 28, 2000:

RE: Toyota Motor Credit Corporation, Shelton, CT - for discussing my personal information

Toyota Motor Credit Corporation, Shelton Ct. in their attempts to reach me due to a late payment called my parents not only did he representative discuss my personal information with my mother he also made threats.

When I called the to resolve the payment issue and tried addressing the conversation the representative had with my mother. I was cut short with I attempted to get a name of an individual to address a letter .

I was told they do not give out last names.

I take full responsibility for my delayed payment, however discussing my personal information with my mother apparently in an attempt to scare us both was not necessary.
