The Ford Focus drives beautifully,,,,but the unresolved problems after over 10,000 miles are very discouraging to say the least.

Apart from the recalls (two of them with one of them yet to be fixed - waiting for parts) the following has happened:

A) Broken seat that took over two months to get repaired,,parts problem.

B) Loud clunking noise in the rear that has been "looked at" at least six or more times and has yet to be fixed..reported during the first month of ownership...sounds like a two ton truck when going over even small road bumps.

Ford continues to say "We are sorry you are having so much trouble.

c) I will not bother to mention the "miryads of small things.

Other than that a beauty to drive ,,,, if you can forget the noise etc. etc.

It is so nice to drive I would willingly buy another providing Ford has cured the problems for the year 2001 model.
