Fence Installers - Long Fence quality and payment problems

Complaints.com received the following e-message on December 9, 2000:

RE: long fence

 

 

On 04/28/00 I contracted long fence to install a split rail fence and an iron fence on front porch.

 

They stated work to start in 4 to 5 weeks but split rail fence work started in 7 weeks.

 

The split rail fence gate was out of plumb and it took 9 weeks for LONG FENCE to correct this flaw.

 

They were supposed to fix it on 08/25/00 but failed to show.

 

But a call and a complaint got them there on 08/30/00 to fix the gate.

 

The iron fence work took 10 weeks to start.

 

So much for there verbal promises.

 

Now when I sent them a payment they reversed the numbers on the checks and am having a problem getting them to correct there mistake.

 

They are turning this matter over to there attorneys for collection.

 

So much for customer consideration.
