RE: Sprint PCS Cellular Service - no longer able to get wireless signal near home - stuck with two year contract and no satisfaction
I have just found out something I think all cellular customers should be aware of. I recently signed up from Spring PCS Cellular Service after switching from Verizon (a move I am now regretting). When I started with the service 4 months ago, I checked the service map and there was good coverage in my area.
The Sprint representative verified that for me. I indeed did have good service for two weeks. After the initial two weeks I couldn't get a signal anywhere near my home. The service also changed near the office where I work which is only 10 minutes from home.
I've been working with Sprint customer service and they swapped out my phone for a lesser phone stating that the phone I had may have been defective (ok, but now I have a $100 phone to replace a $160 phone, I can deal with that).
That didn't help and the phone I now have does not hold battery life for more than 6 hours of non-talk time. Then they sent a representative to my area to find out why my cell service wasn't working. I received a call from him saying that he corrected the problem and to call back if the problem continues.
I called back yesterday only to find out that they may have re-directed the signal in my area therefore changing the coverage, oh well too bad for me. I'm stuck in a contract for TWO YEARS with absolutely NO customer satisfaction. I can opt out for $150 charge which I"m going to gladly pay because Sprint PCS is the worst company I've ever dealt with for customer satisfaction!!
