RE: Countrywide Home Loans - escrow insurance payments not made by Countrywide as expected - causing policy to lapse

We have had a problem with Countrywide Home Loans since 1996 with them paying our insurance premium on time. Each year we recieve a notice from our insurance agency that the policy has lapsed since Countrywide has NOT paid it from the escrow account. After contacting Countrywide we have been told to send them a copy of the insurance bill, but that has NOT resolved the error. I'm wondering if other home owners have had a similar problem? If so would a class action suit against Countrywide not be feasible? If anyother individuals have a similar complaint against Countrywide, please contact me at Email User I'm interested in seeing what the scope of this problem might be. Thanks in advance.
