Complaints.com received the following consumer message on August 25, 2003:

RE: Smith Entertainment, Troy, AL - trouble with satellite receiver installation - poor service experience
I have spoken to several people in your office asking for assistance in getting the receiver in my bedroom (which is the primary receiver in my home) and so far, I have received no help. On the 23rd, I was promised a call from the service center today between 8 and 5.
It is not 6:43PM, and I have not been called. I spoke with 3 people today, and Sue finally said she would pass the word along to the daytime supervisor to call Smith Entertainment in Troy, AL in the morning and set up an appointment for him to come fix my receiver.
This receiver has not worked properly since he installed new receivers in another part of my home. ( These are in someone elses rooms.)
The man from Smith does not want to admit or correct his mistakes. He only wants to criticize the original installation (this seems very unprofessional to me). PLEASE do something to assist me in getting service. Thank you very much. Ann Radford Troy, AL
