Geico/Travelers Home Insurance Nightmare in America's Wealthiest Back Community
Educated, former US. Airforce, Retired Government employee and teacher, cannot get professional speedy procession of policy. My Claim is over 30,000 in replacement value and restoration cost. I was told by Trica Anderson that I don' take messages. Bonnie Armentrout, made snide comments about the quality of my valuable and the home -- the home will sell for 174,000 which in 74,000 more that the average US. home. The home hand antiques, crystal chandeliers, williamsburg colonial light and tiffany lighfixtures. They are requesting documentation of all real-estate own, bank records and tax returns just to process a claim. I even contact the CEO of claims Brian McClean a Pat Darr. They buried it in paperwork. I have spent over 500 dollars on phone and postage elect. Originally, I was in the hospital when the brake in occurred and my home was trashed after I put it up for rent. The staff/management have not shown leadership or cooperation without of town and hospitalize home owners. I find this to my dismay and I find it hard to believe that Fairfax County residents would have the same challenges as Fort Washington's Prince Georges county, a wealthy predominately African American 100,000 per capital community, of filing claims, being dropped from both home and auto coverage; inaddition to, obtaining professional customer service, and receiving closure. The irony is that I tried to work with management and they kept the same incompete people on the case and those people disrespect the customer while audio taping the claims investigation. Games manipulations that should be their name. They are imaginary company runs by a bunchh of crocks. they only collect our money to pay it for their attorneys. my claim was 15 months ago and no hope of them paying anything. Iam shocked how insuarance department of New York are handling the case and how traveler can get away with these games.my advise to everyone DO NOT get any homes or insurance polices all are scams. We have to get in touch and call TV regarding these scandles. Somebody must listen to us. I am sorry this gentleman had to go through this but my husband and I had a fire claim. It was ruled accidental and Travelers seemed to change everything that we read in our policy. We were assigned someone from Indianapolis In. because that is close to where we live and we know snotty. This man had no respect for us at all. When ever we had to speak with him on the phone I just wanted to cry and cry and my husband was so angry he couldn't even eat or sleep. We contacted he supervisor and asked for another person because we couldn't handle this with him anymore and all we were told was that the supervisor had had no complaints about him in the past and in laymans terms we would have to make the best of it. We got to the place every time the phone would ring and it would be him we went into panic attacks. They made me feel I had done something wrong by taking pictures of everything in our home and having all this documentation of our things like we were instructed to do when we got our policy. Even with all this it took 4 months for this to get settled. We didn't get nearly as much as what our things were really valued at. But, at least we are out of motel rooms. We have to start almost from scratch, but we sure did learn a lesson. Even though you get insurance don't think for one minute that the insurance is there to help you through this because they are not! They are only in this for themselves and to make your life a living hell if you ever have a claim. It doesn't matter to them that you just lost your life and memories. That employ some of the snottiest agents just to give you grief so you will settle for hardly nothing. I feel so bad for this person I am replying to, but don't feel alone. Travelers screwed us over also. Especially the ones in Indianapolis, In.
