RE: Verizon DSL - line down from July 18 to Aug. 3 - only offered a credit of $ 18.48 - frustrated with service
My DSL line provided by Verizon On Line was down from July 18th to Aug 3rd and Verizon wants to credit me $18.48. I work from home, so the time it was down I was driving to and from work at 15 miles each way. I was on the phone with them for many hours trying to get the DSL to work.
They told me 5 times someone would call me back, only one person ever called me back. I lost a ot of money and my time and no one cares.
They keep saying we can only credit you for the time down. I paid a bill of $75.00 while my service was down and now they want another $75.00 for my bill this month. I feel like an idiot paying for this. My credit will come in the next two billing cycles. Big deal.
I am so frustrated because I know no one cares about what I went through. When the problem did get solved the guy helping me told me that this should have been fixed along time ago because it was my modem that needed to be reset and it only took 5 mins while he had me on the phone.
Somebody tell me if there is anything I can do besides pay these people money for sh____ service. Thanks - Feels like an idiot.
