99 Dodge Ram - airbags did not deploy in head-on collision

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on August 5, 2002:

RE: 99 Dodge Ram - airbags did not deploy in head-on collision

To whom it may concern, My husband was involved in a head on collusion with his 99 Dodge Ram and his airbags did not deploy. His entire front end is pushed up into his cab. He only sustained a sprained wrist out of this accident, but it could have been much worse.

We are very concerned about every driving this vehicle again. Will we be safe? We feel Chrysler should look into this matter and reimburse us for this truck. Next time this happens to someone Chrysler could be paying out a lot more than the price of a vehicle.
