Complaints.com received the following consumer message on August 5, 2002:

RE: 2002 Volvo S60 - no reply from Volvo's customer service corp. headquarters regarding service question

Our 2002 S60 has reached its 7,500 miles and the (SRI) SERVICE REMINDER INDICATOR, is indicating its time for the 7500 mile service.

In speaking to my dealership, the things they do at this 7500 mile check up is. Oil change, check fluid levels, and check brakes. and charge approx. $100. All these items I do myself.

For the past 2 weeks I have emailed Volvo's customer service corp. headquarters. And get very little response or a run around.

Have they designed a vehicle that must be serviced by the dealership?
