RE: Alliance Service Company, Illinois - paid $ 71 for magazines - door-to-door sales tactics

I had a telemarketer come in person to my door step and solicit my subscription to a couple of magazines through Alliance Service Company in Illinois.

He claimed that on my subscription he would get points to win a trip to anywhere in the world so I told him am not ineterested however he persisted saying that I could subscribe and cancel on the same day with no charge while he gets the points anyways so I went ahead and did that just to get him off my back however he requested that I do so on two checks so that when I cancel he doesn't look bad with a big check being returned unpaid!

Catch, I've only received one chack back the bigger one was cashed today with $71 for magazines I didn't even look at what I was ordering since I wasn't going to get them anyways.

What scam is this Mon-Thursday company running with teenager telemarketers on the streets? Right now I am a very angry man. Thanks for this services feels even better to release a lil steam.
