RE: Bally's Total Fitness Center, Brooklyn, New York - unable to cancel membership due to "no hardship cancellation procedure"
Dear Consumers Affairs I have contacted Bally's Total Fitness Center in Brooklyn New York (Snyder and Flatbush) and main quarters office, and tried to cancel my membership with them since I am unable to afford the monthly fee.
They mentioned that they could not do this since they carry a "no hardship cancellation procedure". In no way did I anticipate that I would become a divorced mother with two children and having to financially be the head of household paying for rent, food, child care, et al all on my own.
This monthly fee is a serious financial burden on me. I sincerely hope you can assist me in this matter which is causing me to be under financial stress emotionally and physicially, not to mention the deprivement my children are facing. I sincerely hope for your assistance in this matter. I greatly appreciate all you can. Sincerely Ms. Gladys Ortiz-Blease From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Sunday, 04-Aug-02 00:00:00 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
