Hefty one zip freezer bags - one quart size - unable to open bags - never had encountered faulty box before

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on August 27, 2002:

I recently purchased your hefty one zip freezer bags in the quart size. Today when I was trying to use them, they wouldn't open. I would zip it one way, then check for the opening, then zip it the other way. No such luck. When I pryed it apart, it would never zip again.

I went through 10 of these bags with frustration today. I buy these often and have never encountered a faulty box. I am enclosing the numbers of the box for you to check on if you would. I would appreciate anything you can do for me. Thank you. Paula Olsen Email User Identifying numbers on box:

we too, cannot get the bags open. The 25 bags....gallon size were awful. We could use about 10 of them.
