Videocon TV 5109R TV - trouble with TV

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on August 26, 2002:

Dear Sir,

I had purchased Videocon TV 5109R model with serial no. 1100502561 dated 04/09/2000 from Maharaja Electronics, Gokul gate Rewari (Haryana) dealer.

Tv has started given problem of changing colour from back blue to orange,red etc and affecting Tv image while watching any channel.

This complaints was lodged but Engineer said you may change the position of TV. Next time the complaints was not attended. By the time warranty over and dealer said you go to Nanda Electronic of the same problem.

Now TV has started blurred picture and Tv is not searching VHF-H band channels. Many times complaints were lodged but engineer niether attended the problem not responded.

The problem was started after six month from the date of purchasing but niether dealer nor engineer responding properly.

It is mu humble request that TV was having manufacturering defect and giving problem to customer and this should be attended properly other wise I have to move to comsumer court finally.
