Foundmoney.com - paid $ 40 and haven't heard from company since

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on August 26, 2002:

RE: Foundmoney.com - paid $ 40 and haven't heard from company since Hi, Here is another company I have a complaint against. A company called "Foundmoney.com put their advertising on our computer and said they had found money in our name and we just had to pay them and they would give us the information. So I paid them $40 by credit card, and we have not heard from them since.

I have emailed them and asked them to refund our money. I didn't even get the pass word they promised. No matter how many times I asked they ignored me. This was around the middle of April in 2002. Please warn people and see if they can be made to refund the $40 or else have to quite taking people's money from them. Thanks for anything you can do. Sincerely, Lee and Carolyn Bernier
