RE: A Mortgage Company, Knoxville, TN - making payments, but payments not being recorded

This is a general complaint at this time. But if anyone can give me advise please talk to me. We are purchasing our trailer and are dealing with a new mortgage company headquartered in Knoxville Tennessee. The company we originally financed with sold out mortgage to the new company. The problem started almost immediately after the new company took over our mortgage. Calls about not receiving our payments. I've already had to trace three money orders because they said they did not receive them.

I sent the money orders "confirmed receipt" and have proof the mortgage company received the package but they have said on two occasions the money orders were not in the envelope. The post office have traced the money order numbers and they haven't been cashed to date. The mortgage company calls my house at all times of the day and night. Sometimes speaking to my children and telling them my husband and I had better call and get this taken care of. Sometimes they call four or five times a day. We asked if we could wire the money to them or send do checks over the telephone so we won't have this problem. They said they are not set up to receive electronic payments at this time. I don't know what else to do. They have also called and told me that I've been a problem and they plan to send someone to inspect the property in the near future. I'm not sure what sort of threat this is supposed to be but I'm at the disadvantage. I can't take the payment to a local office because they are in Knoxville and I'm on the east coast of North Carolina, they don't have electronic payment capability which is what I offered.

I send my payments the way I always have in the past but for some reason other something isn't working right with these folks. I want to retain a lawyer but am not sure which type would be worth the cost. If anyone has any advise I'm open.
