RE: Wal-Mart, Plainwell, MI - overcharged for sliced bacon - refunded differenc and given $ 5
On Thursday 8\22\02 at the Wal-mart in Plainwell store number 2061 we found thick sliced bacon priced at $2.22 so we picked up 11 packages. However the scanner scanned them at $4.82.
We didn't notice the problem until we got home. We returned with the bacon to Wal-mart. The Customer Service Personnel stated that the price should have been the higher value but gave a refund for the differance and a whole $5.00 for our time.
I was under the impression that that they were more upset that they had been caught scanning incorrectly more so than the scan was incorrect.
As a further note this was not scanned as 11 items at one price, but each package was scanned seperately. How many other items are scanned wrong? We feel that a full refund was due, not a mere $5.00 Thank you for your time John Patton From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Sunday, 25-Aug-02 00:00:00 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
