Pet Supply House, Ontario, Canada - ordered and returned Gator 88 grooming shears - charged 20% restocking fee

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on August 23, 2002:

Upon purchasing a pair of Gator 88 grooming shears for the tune of 214.00 and receiving them by Canada post . I decided they weren't quite what I expected.

So I called the company to get an authorization for return and to otplace an her scissor order . The authorization was given. I returned the shears by mail. when they received them they called me to say that there would be a 20% restocking charge.

There was no mention of such a policy when I purchased the shears, and I don't feel I should have to pay 20%. What is you view on this.
