RE: 2500 series Chevy Van - RPM vibration in every gear - Chevy bought back Van and replaced it with a van having the same problem

We are a small school located in Frederick, Maryland. Last September we bought a 2500 series Chevy Van.

There existed an RPM based vibration in every gear. GM and the dealer, Criswell Chevrolet, admitted there was a vibration and that it was not acceptable.

After 10 months of trying to stop the problem, GM relented and bought the van back. We were told that our van was the only van with that problem so we ordered another one exactly like the first one. The second van has the exact same problem at the exact same RPMs at the exact same speeds.

GM is now telling us that the problem they spent 10 months trying to stop on the first van is now acceptable and they will not return our money. RPM based vibrations in any mechanical system are a no-no. I can't advise anyone to purchase a Chevy Van. Sincerely, Chris Kieffer, President, Harker School
