Beechmont Ford, Cincinnati, OH - Advantage Insurance - purchased new truck and car insurance - didn't get proof of insurance, but check was cashed

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on August 19, 2002:

I bought a truck at beechmont ford,cinti.,ohio. They set me up with an insurance agent{ron priore,advantage insurance} My check was cashed,but i never received proof of insurance. I got a speeding ticket.This all happened on 5-6-02. on 8-18-02 i was pulled over in sharonville,ohio across the street from my emplorer. my truck was towed, impounded till court on 8-21-02.

All because my license is suspened for lack of insurance. Insurance which i paid for and believed i had. I filed complaints with BEECHMONT FORD they did return my insurance payment on 7-12-02.

But that still didn't cover me for the ticket i had already received.I filed a complaint with the state of ohio about RON PRIORE & ADVANTAGE INSURANCE.I lost 3 hours of double time pay yesterday,I was susposed to work 12 hours today.I have no vehicle no license.

The officer took my license and my license plates.My truck can't be released before court in 5 days even then i can't get it because i don't have a license.If i bring a licensed driver to court they will release my truck,but they can't drive it home without plates. i was told i have to pay a reiststement fee of 175.00 to get my license back.plus attorney fees.

I live 22 miles from my job,I'm a single parent.I can't even take my kids school shopping.I will lose my job if i'm work for 5 days.I feel as if beechmont ford should give me the truck for ruining my life, thats if i can even get it back
