RE:RE: AAA credit card services
I have received a reply from the credit card. They will credit me the financial charges and complete the free interest due period. They will only admit to as a courtesy but for right now that is fine with me. Antoine

RE: AAA credit card services - charged for interest before free 6 month no-interest period expired - due to late payment
The credit card company started charging me interest on my outstanding amount BEFORE THE 6 MONTH FREE INTEREST PERIOD WAS EXPIRED. They claim that this was due to a late payment received a month ago although this matter was cleared up with the customer services department before I received this new statement.
Customer services clearly took my late payment penalty away (as stated on my most recent bill) when it was made clear that the late payment received was not my fault.
The customer service representative who took the late payment fee away SHOULD have told me about the fact that it would still stop the free interest period , BUT THEY DID NOT. It is clear to me that these credit card companies lure you into signing up with them and then try to charge you special fees any way they can to make money, without informing you.
Their excuse is of course: well Sir actually it is mentioned on the folder we mailed you (yeh somewhere in very small print on the 26 page of the brochure or so).
