Complaints.com received the following consumer message on August 14, 2002:

RE: Equifax - rude service while attempting to clear up problem with credit report
December 2001, I have tried to speak with reps at equifax in ref. to a purchase, attempting to clear up the problem, each time I phoned them I was talked to as if I was less than dirt not to mention the many times they hung up on me.
equifax request I fax receipts of my returned items and recipts for the cash money I has paid, twice I faxed this info and I was to too bad just send us your check.
On December 11th and 19th 2001 I was yelled at by Audrey, when I wanted to explain about the return she said she was not interest, just pay up she then hung up the phone.
On 1-8-02 Shawn called me and said he did not care about the receipts I faxed just send a check.
On 12-24-01 I attempted to speak with someone in ref. to this matter and a man answered the phone calling himself the receptionist and gave me a hard time, he refused to allow me to speak with a rep.January 18th 2002 Roxanne yelled at me and hung up the phone.
8-14-02 Stephen Steele told me that he was going to ref. this to the state so just stick my head back in the sand because you will pay.
Is this professional or am I just carzy, I wanted to work with them but that is the treatment they gave me.
