Geico Car insurance - trouble with getting car repair completed - trouble with rental car - upset with Geico

July 5th I was in a car accident. It was a hit and run. Ok i call Geico insurance and gave them all of the information. The people from Geico told me to go to this collision center which is located in napervillie illinois. Ok i went here on July 10th. Talk to a claim adjuster. He wrote out a check for 974.00. I left my car their the same day(July 10) with check. Geico gave me a rental car on this day.

July 26 arrive rental car people call and tell me that i need to bring there car back because geico is not paying no more money. I then call the collision place where my car is at and ask if my car was ready and they respond no. I explain to the people at the collision center i need my car because i can not afford to pay out of pocket for a rental car because i have to pay a 500.00 dollar deductible.

These people to make a long story short kept telling me that they were waiting on the side molding to come in. Well July 31 i return the rental car. owing 26.00. The rental car people drove me over to collision center. I go to look at my car and for 21 days they fix rear passenger side of car. They did not fix the inside mirror nor the dash. i ask about the mirror and ask them how am i suppose to drive.

They did fix the mirror. I then talk to the claim adjuster for geico. i explain to him why did i have to pay 500.00 deductible when my car was not finish and the check that was written out for the amount of 974.00, 50.00 of this was to come back to me because the agreement of the repairs was for 1424.00. The claim adjuster just start talking in riddles. Geico STINKS. I have to ride around in a unfinished car with molding missing. WHAT TYPE OF INSURANCE IS GEICO.

I was told by the geico claim adjuster that i would get my money back for putting 100.00 deposit for the car Rental also My 50.00. Today is August 13, I call the collision center and ask has the parts come in for my car. There respond was . Just two parts.When i do get the parts for my car I will no longer do business with Geico. They are Full of xxxx.
