This bagless model cleaner has a "true hepa filter" and you would think that Eureka would have devised a way to empty the cup and clean the regular filter without getting a snoot full of what you just vacuumed off the floor. NO !!!! I called the company and asked if it could be converted to a bag--NO.
Is there any way to clean it without getting serious dust up your nose and in your eyes--NO.
Would Eureka be willing to refund some of my $169.00 purchase price (a lot of money for me) so I could purchase a Eureka bag model--NO. Does Eureka want my business--APPARENTLY NOT.
I suggested that they should at least put a highly visible warning on the boxes warning allergy sufferers that the "true hepa filter" doesn't protect them from the dust they encounter when they clean the cup and filter.
Fortunately, I have a big yard where I can clean the darn thing. Pity apartment dwellers.
