Lenscrafters, Glendale, AZ - lenses purchased on May 22, 2002 cracked - rude service

To Whom It May Concern, Monday August 5th 2002, I walked into your store due to the fact the lenses I bought on May 22,2002 were cracked on both lenses. At that time James Wirtz whom was assistance Mgn. ask how he could assist me.

I showed him my lenses with the crack and he ask what I cleaned my glasses with I replyed water first and than windex and a lenscrafters cloth. He said "thats what cracked these lenses" and I proceed ed to tell him I believed it was a manufacturer deffect. as it occured within 90 days that I had them.

He wanted to argue with me---several times saying "you did it ! you did yourself you did it yourself so you must pay. I got quite upset including my friend with me was also upset and happens to be one of your better customers. I feel his training is not up to standards as everyone in store stop and listens and they left.

He proceeded to announce to me he did not care to have my business or enter the store again and I might add nethier will my friend. Jeanette Reddy
