Complaints.com received the following consumer message on August 9, 2002:

RE: Convectionaire Fat Free Stove Top, Paramount, CA - cookware puchase - returned - need refund Bought cookware from Convectionaire Fat Free Stove Top 6319 East Alondra Blvd. Paramount, Calif 90723 ( they had a commercial on Cable TV with a woman cooking and the man eating) for $92.93 Nov. 8, 2001! returned 11/28/01 by US Postal Service cost $23.36 ( I have the receipt) letter sent with package stating reason for return. bought for gift - person had one similar.

i thanked them. no response 2nd letter 1/2/02 3rd letter 2/12/02 4th letter 2/12/01 sent by U.S. postal return receipt requested and signed the 5th etter sent by us postal certified mail cost $.4.42 on July 12/02 have not received signed receipt of acceptance several calls were made to Customer Service at 1-562-272- 1416- and they acknowledge receiving the package explaining that the money would arrive in 2 weeks

this has been going for several months last week I called and spoke to Virginia at customer service Previous time I called, they promised I would receive the money in 2 weeks and when I called again they said no one worked there with the name that was given to me .

Now I have spoken to a girl named Virginia at Customer Service who kept me on hold for a very long time. I finally hung up and redial and Virginia answered and after going through a long time checking , said I would be getting my money in 2 weeks. !!!! I believe I have given this company more then enough time to return my money I know it is not much, but I an 79 and told them and feel that there is no reason for not returning my money. I returned it exacly as I received it.

They also admit receiving it. thanks for any help you can give me. I could not find them on the computer. They are still on Cable TV advertising even in the past week. !!
