RE: Oak Express Furniture row co.
I bought a grandfather clock with the wrong price on it!!! I ask them to hold on to it for 30 days till our new house was completed. Two weeks later ,when I took my sister into see it, I was approched by the sales man who told me I could not have the clock that I already bought because the wrong price was on it.I could have a refund or pay 1000$ more .I was never called in two weeks ?,the manager would not come out of the backroom to talk to me and no one would deal with this. Needless to say I filed a complaint with the BBS and the State atterney General office.
It has been over 3 weeks and still no one has called or answerd me on IS THIS LEGAL?? I work in the food retail industry and if we make a mistake on pricing there are penelties Does this apply ?? I will never step foot in that store again for the poor way I was treated and I tell everyone that I see meet and know the story they can't believe it and nether can I Right now I really don't care that much about the clock I care about the way I was treated and making sure no one else gets hooked and baited like I did. If there isn't a law about hand written prices I mean to see that there becomes one.
