RE: Excel

I received a bill from excel in 1999, I lived in Florida then (GTE was the local telco.) The bill was a double billing. I called the company. Being a rep at the time for the said Company and having placed other customers on the service of Excel I was very distraught when 25 of my customers calling me to explain that they too had double billing.

I called the company to explain that their was an integrity factor here. They explained at the time that they did indeed have a problem with their billing. They said they would correct the problem. I spoke to GTE at the time explaining that I will not pay a bill to Excel until it is corrected. They agreed that I could only pay their half $123.00 Excel was billing me for $500.

Verizon has taken over GTE . Now GTE has placed me in collection. They have also placed all 25 of my customers on same Some has payed because they need a phone so badly. As a person working as a rep for EXcel in the past, I can strongly tell you that not only have they been dishonest in their advertising and promotion but they have caused the problem of double billing and then asked the customer to pay this excess all along telling you how much less you would be paying.

I will have a big law suit against this company along with all 25 customers If you too have been scammed e mail me at Email User
