RE: CarMax
My son purchased a car at CarMax at Irving Texas as well as the warranty. His car had a leak, was told to get the car to them as soon as possible which he did. Before anyone from the warranty place had a chance to look at the car, the engine was being taken about. The work under the warranty was denied. $2500 and they would not fix it. We could not get anyone to see us or return phone cars. Always excuses, too busy, do not have time, or just no return phone calls.
I wrote a letter to corporate office which was passed down to the General Manager of the dealership. He as much as called my son and I liar, saying that we did not contact them. So unknown to us they had the car towed away in May. No certified letters were sent nor any phone conversations. Now there is the possiblity that his car has been autioned off and we cannot find any further information because Car Max will not communicate. I would like to warn teenagers and women that CarMax does not treat you with respect. You can contact the corporate office in Glen Allen, VA and no help from them either. Ruth Glew
